This page contains images of works from 2022-2023. It begins with an installation completed for Center for Craft, a work that inspired this installation, pieces made in residency at Santa Fe Art Institute, and some of the things I made for the Kmart parking lot in AVL and later, SF.
There was text interspersed with these images about how these works specifically came about, and how they related to climate crisis.
Those words were before Helene. I had to take them down shortly after the storm because they felt so inconsequential after all that we’ve been through and are still going through.

It’s been nearly two years since the storm and I’m just now finding ways to make work about it. Reading this tonight, from shortly after the storm, I think of all those who have gone through disasters and are experiencing them now. And how long recovery and processing take.
