The OBX Art Truck was a 1991 Ford f150 that hosted exhibitions of artists and performers in her bed as she traversed the rural and coastal communities of North Carolina. She was a temporal experiment aimed at providing an intersection between conceptual artists from the Southeastern United States and communities historically underexposed to contemporary practices in the arts.

This mini-residency / exhibition invited artists from GA, FL, NC, SC, and VA to a 3-4 night stay in our home to execute a proposed work, and asked artists to participate in one event with the community, whether that be a work in motion or a work that remained stationary. The call was open to any media, including performance and sound based works.
